I finally got a chance to visit the Port Harcourt Zoo over the weekend. Not much has changed since I last visited the zoo in 2004. One thing I noticed though was that the volume of visitors was high and kept increasing until I left the Zoo at 12.30pm. I was told by one of the visitors that the highlight of Sunday visits is the feeding of the animals, particularly the Lions.
