Service My Country is Dabesaki’s autobiographical reflections on Nigeria’s development and the role of young people. Key issues addressed in the book include Nigeria’s development policy, especially its poverty reduction strategy, National Youth Service, HIV/AIDS and the Niger Delta development challenge. Dabesaki also shares his personal development trajectory and his hopes and expected contributions to Nigeria’s development.
Our Rocky Years discusses adolescent development challenges including sexual and reproductive health, social and moral development. Originally published in 2002, the book is based mainly on young people’s experiences growing-up through the ‘storm and stress’ of the adolescent stage.
‘this book will bridge the gap between the youth, adult and the government, restoring harmony and prosperity in the near future’- Peters Dikioye
